Test Report Form (TRF)

Test takers will be able to view unofficial results online within 2-5 business days after the computer-based test and on the 13th day after the paper-based test. Your TRF number is available on both the Test Report Form you receive and through the unofficial online result at the bottom of the page.
Please note that these are not to be used for official purposes, and that all institutions or agencies require official Test Report Forms.
Official Results
On the 13th day after your paper-based test and within 2-5 business days after your computer-based test, official results will be sent via regular mail or courier. We strongly encourage you choose the courier option as regular post cannot be tracked and may take up to 3 weeks for delivery.
Test takers can also choose to pick up official TRF at our
main office in Waterloo only after 12:00 p.m. on the 13th day after the test. Test takers must notify IELTS Conestoga, before the results are released and they must bring their test day identification with them to pick up the TRF.
All academic test takers will receive ONLY ONE original Test Result Form for their own copy. This is a very valuable document and should be stored in a secure location. Please do NOT send your personal copy to institutions or agencies. You will not receive a second personal copy. Please see

General Training test takers will receive one original Test Report Form. Within 2 years from the test date, General Training test takers may request ONE additional TRF. If test takers request this at registration, they will receive 2 TRFs (1 for their own copy and 1 for immigration purposes).
Test Centres are NOT permitted to give test results over the telephone, via fax or e-mail to either the test taker or the receiving institutions. If you do not attend all four sections of the IELTS test, you will not receive a test result.
Test Report Form is valid for 2 years from the test day.
Changes to the Test Report Form (TRF)

Additional TRF Fee
Within 30 days from your Test Date
- AC candidates may request up to 5 copies of additional TRFs. Candidates must pay postage or courier fees unless your institution accepts results by e-transfer.
** We strongly recommend you courier this valuable document to your chosen institution(s).
Postage may take up to 3+ weeks and cannot be tracked. IELTS Conestoga does not take responsibility for lost TRFs, and refunds will not be processed. - For 6 or more copies of your TRF, a $30.00 per TRF fee will be charged.
General Training (GT) Candidates
- GT candidates may request 1 additional TRF for immigration purposes; this will be mailed to your current mailing address.
- If it is more than 30 days since your IELTS test, a $30.00 TRF fee plus postage or courier fees will apply.

Additional TRF Request
Test takers can order additional TRFs at the point of registration. To request additional TRFs after registration, please complete the
Online Additional TRF Request Form.
If an additional TRF request is received by the main office before the test result is released, additional TRFs will be also sent on the 13th calendar day following the test day. If not, it will take 5–10 business days to process additional TRF request.
Test Report Forms are valid for 2 years after the test date. After this date additional TRFs will not be sent.
